Mission Biofuels India Pvt Ltd has recorded tremendous success over the past 3 years by planting over 300,000 acres of Jatropha Curcas. How is this done? By partnering with poor farmers and with the view to alleviate poverty, the over 30,000 farmers grow this incredible plant in marginalised land of their landholdings.
In this manner, Mission is contributing to sustainable and socially responsible use of the world’s marginalized lands thereby helping to improve the lives of the impoverished rural population, conserve biodiversity, reduce carbon emissions and build local and global food security.
